Advantis are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the government-backed Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. The latest data security standard achieved by the company, the award focuses on protecting customers, clients and services against online security (cyber) threats and is a requirement for many contracts in the public sector.
This success evidences the adoption of best standards of practice, principles, frameworks and processes for managing data security, and joins our ISO 27001 and PCI DSS accreditations in providing proof of our ongoing commitment to protecting our customer’s and client’s data.
The award was assessed by independent auditors and considered a number of security factors including:
- Internet Gateways
- Malware Protection
- Access Controls
- Patch Management
- Secure Configuration
Brian Roscoe, IT Director of Advantis commented:
